CORTESE
This native vine of the Province of Alessandria, called courteisa or courteis during the past, has found its perfect habitat in the hills of the Tortona region, where it has been raised since the first half of the XVIII century. The hilly ground made of soft ondulations, characterized by a temperate micro climate, almost ever sunny and without sudden and strong variations in temperature, certainly represents the suitable habitat for this type of vine.
